All of our piercings are pierced with medical grade titanium. We only buy
from a factory based in the UK as many wholesalers import an imitation version which
causes infections and rejection. We also have many fashion and traditional piercings for you to choose from. Whether it's a bolt, stud, ring - we will have the right piercing for you.
The most important factor of piercing is the sterilisation. At studio 9 we have a
seperate sterilisation room (just like a hospital) and have the same top-grade machines as a hospital.

Rob has been piercing for nearly nine years. He first started piercing in the city for a well known and recognised studio called Metamorphosis that pierce at festivals up and down
the country and have studios in central London and Manchester.
He then opened up a studio
called Virgo's in Westcliff, Essex which was open for 5 years. After
much success he decided to open up in central Southend, Essex.
Rob has been piercing at Studio 9 for seven years, piercing for twelve years in total, and he does 1,500 piercings a year. Rob has now done pierced over 20,000 piercings and uses many advanced methods to ensure top quality, better results. Most of his clients are from recommendations and keep coming back time and time again. They like Rob's customer-focused attitude and trust his expertise.

DOES IT HURT?
For most people it's not as bad as they imagine. Most piercings are done with a clamp that pinches the skin (this feels like a tight pinch). This will take away some of the feeling. For some piercings an anaesthesia is available.
WHAT DOES THE ANAESTHESIS FEEL LIKE?
Body piercers are not doctors and we can only use spray-on anaesthetic. The subjected area grows cold and sometimes a slight stinging sensation is felt.
IS THERE A DISADVANTAGE TO HAVING AN ANAESTHESIA?
- It delays the healing process.
- It causes redness.
- It will be longer before you can change the initial jewellery.
Never! Our oldest client was 84.
WHEN CAN I TAKE MY PIERCING OUT?
Facial piercings which have healed can be taken out and a retainer is put in place to keep the hole open. Your boss shouldn't have a problem with that!
IS THERE ANY AFTERCARE SERVICE?
Yes. We have an aftercare pack and expert staff to advise.

We stock a wide range of cleaning products and will advise you how to use them.
